SMS Terms & Conditions

1. The program

NeriOS, operated by Fairlead Technologies, LLC, sends operational text messages on behalf of the maritime pilot organizations that use our platform — including the Sabine Pilots Association — to their own licensed pilots and personnel: job assignment alerts, dispatch confirmations, vehicle-location confirmations, schedule updates, and similar dispatch-related prompts. This is a workplace program for a closed group of known participants. It is not marketing, and it is not offered to the general public. Phone numbers are never obtained from third parties or purchased lists.

2. Enrollment and consent

Participation is opt-in. Consent is collected individually from each participant by their organization during onboarding and recorded before any automated message is sent. The consent record each participant signs includes the following statement:

“I agree to receive operational dispatch text messages from NeriOS. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Upon enrollment, participants receive a one-time text message confirming their opt-in.

Consent is not a condition of employment or membership. Declining or withdrawing has no effect on your standing — dispatchers simply reach you by phone instead.

3. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with operations. You may receive several messages on a working day and none on others. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

4. Opting out and help

• Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop receiving texts immediately. You will receive one final message confirming the opt-out.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@nerios.io.
• To re-enroll, reply START to a previous message or contact your organization.

5. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and the availability of your device.

6. Privacy

Phone numbers and consent records are handled as described in the SMS Privacy Notice. Mobile information is never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated through your organization.
